Hello, and thank you for visiting our website. We are a small, independent optometry practice specializing in a no-rush, semi-concierge experience for all our patients. We are not a high-volume practice with a desire to get our patients in and out the door as quickly as possible. Our patients are provided with a generous amount of time with our optometrist and are free to browse our optical without any sales pressure from our staff.

Dr. Allen Mok, O.D. has been practicing since 2001. He specializes in Dry Eye Treatment, LASIK co-management, Specialty Contact Lenses (Scleral, RGP, Multifocal), and Medical Optometry. In his free time, he enjoys learning a new language, training for the next half marathon, and traveling. DJ (our office Cardigan Corgi) enjoys spending his days at the office greeting patients for treats.

COMPREHENSIVE EYE EXAMS

Regardless of your age or physical health, it’s important to have regular eye exams. Your eyes are a window to your overall health, and a comprehensive eye exam is not just a prescription for eyeglasses or contact lenses. A complete exam will include testing for common eye diseases such as macular degeneration and glaucoma as well as monitoring for systemic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes. Any of these conditions may have an impact on your ocular health.

CONTACT LENS EXAMS

Prior to being fit with contact lenses  that you’ll love, we will need to  perform a comprehensive eye exam  first. The first step in a contact  lenses fitting is considering your  lifestyle. Do you want daily disposables  or overnight wear? This will all be  thoroughly discussed during your  visit. Follow up visits may be  necessary to confirm the fitting of  your lenses. Once we’ve found a lens  that fits properly we will be sure to  create a prescription for you.

OCULAR DISEASE MANAGEMENT

Our office is experienced in the management of eye conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eyes and cataracts. We also diagnose and treat conjunctivitis (pink eye) and blepharitis (eye lid infections). If you suspect that you have any of these conditions it’s a priority of ours to catch that early on. Which means you should schedule an appointment to consult with Dr. Mok about your concerns and have a professional take.

EYE EMERGENCIES

Our office is experienced in handling many eye-related emergencies or urgent eye concerns. Should you have any of the following, please don’t hesitate to contact our office.

• Flashers/Floaters
• Eye Pain

If you experience an Eye Emergency after hours please call visit an Urgent Care or the Emergency Room at your closest hospital.

APPOINTMENTS

Appointment Requests are for Routine Eye Exams and full Contact Lens Eye Exams only. If you require a medical visit (red eye, flashes/floaters, etc.) please call our office (303-426-5550) to verify your medical insurance before scheduling an appointment. This also applies to follow up appointments from a previous visit.
